Hi everyone,

Here's my blue sky's list:

I would love to work with children, creativity and learn more about psychology.
I would love to have 300.000 euro, so I have the freedom to work when I want to.
I would love to travel more, maybe make a worldtrip.
I would love to do more for people in need.

I'm already doing a course in creativitiy. But I don't have financial space at the moment to do a course that you can work with children (I really don't like my current job)..
So I would actually like to do everything on the list, but I don't have enough money.

Greetings Carla (The Netherlands)

By the way: Michael I love your show!!

Thanks, Carla - it's a beautiful list!

You've beautifully phrased things in terms of what Barbara Sher calls a 'Wish/Obstacle Solution'.  This sets your situation up wonderfully to be brainstormed by others!

Any ideas, genii? Wink

love,

I don't know what your personal situation is Carla, but i think none of these three wishes really require money.  There are plenty of non-governmental organizations that are looking to hire people to work in developing countries to assist local populations and communities in a variety of projects.  Many of these projects are for families or for children.  You could combine travelling, helping people and working with children, and even get paid for it.  Or you can start by being a volunteer, you won't get paid a salary, but your lodging and daily expenses will be covered (most times)

Hi Michael and Marussia,

Thanks for your messages.
I've decided to look for a job in the current field I'm working in, but for less hours and get paid more, so I can do some volunteerwork and see if I actually like working in this area.

At this time I can't go to another country because the course I'm following on creativity lasts another year and I really want to finish that.

Money is my obstacle cause I have to pay my rent and can't just quit my job because of it and I have a debt that I have to pay also. At this moment time is also an obstacle for me, that's why I'm going to do the solution mentioned above.

Greetings Carla
