Here are some interesting definitions from Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad:
- Asset = Something you own that makes you money
- Liability = Something you own that costs you money
Or to put it more simply, an asset is anything that feeds you in times of trouble, whereas a liability is anything that eats you!
All of the things we make available in our market stall are assets - things you can spend money on that will increase your ability to make money in the future!
